Career Development Benchmark
Benchmark #81 - Developing a personal plan of action to set personal career goals.
For right now my future plan is to join the military and be in for about 20ish years, after that I just recently got the idea of becoming a lineman to repair and work on telephone lines. For that i'll have to take classes through Consumers and then work under a professional for 3-4 years
Benchmark #82 - Determining personal strengths, weaknesses, and interests relative to specific career areas.
I have found that I am better in pretty much any environment that isn't an office type setting. That's one of the reasons why I believe the military will be a good fit for me.

Benchmark #83 - Taking steps to achieve career goals.
During the last year or so I have taken steps towards achieving my career goals by talking to multiple recruiters for different branches of the military and family members who have served. |
Benchmark #84 - Using the employ-ability skills assessment process to build and improve your personal portfolio.
I've had to sit down and look at what i'm good at and what i'm not, and by doing so I believe that I have a better understanding of my personal skills. |
