Teamwork Skills Benchmark
Benchmark #45 - Giving feedback in a positive way.
While working in groups during my high school career I had to learn how to give feedback in a positive way while
at the same time making it constructive.
at the same time making it constructive.
Benchmark #56 - Analyzing community needs.
When I went to the Priceless Toy Store last year
for Tops I got to see a lot of the people from the
community that didn't have a whole lot. And
I saw the same thing when I fed the homeless.

Benchmark #58 - Representing the team to others
that assist in the mission. During my time as a coach I was a representative during tournaments and I'd go talk to people in place of the head coach. |
Benchmark #63 - Leading the team in developing its mission and goals.
I would train the kids I was coaching on how to wrestle and help them develop their skills. By doing so they were able to complete their goal of getting a medal. |
Benchmark #66 - Understanding a team decision and working to carry out the goal.
I was one of about 3 assistant coaches plus the head coach and sometime they would make a decision that I didn't necessarily agree with i'd still listen and then help with what they needed.
